The two part time co-ordinators Dave Watton and Georgia Stokes started working in early November and are working on the programme for the Centre. The building work is finished and we hope the internal furnishings are now completed and the Centre is ready for the opening in the new year. There is a second Newsletter with their current plans.
Dave and Georgia are meeting local groups and talking to people interested in working with them on different projects. They are seeking volunteers and want to hear from anyone with an interest in environmental concerns. There will be an official opening on 20th March.
They are holding two Eco Centre Public Previews before the official opening:
Saturday 28th February between 10am - 1pm
Thursday 5th March between 3pm - 6pm
