Own Projects, Events, Courses and Ideas

Northfield Ecocentre has a city wide reputation for its work in reducing impacts on the environment and promoting sustainable lifestyles. It has many connections, networks and resources to allow it to work towards addressing environmental issues within Birmingham. We able to provide a venue and base for individuals who have the passion and ideas to run their own projects, events and courses. Examples of this include;

- A individual who is now working with Northfield Ecocentre as part of her PhD Studentship.

- A individual who approached Northfield Ecocentre with ideas about making Eco friendly cleaning projects.

- A individual who promotes the history of Northfield a uses the Ecocentre as a starting place for local wildlife and history walks.

We are completely open to suggestions and ideas about ways in which we can help address environmental impacts of the local area. We run a School of Green Living where external facilitators provide environmental courses at the Ecocentre.

If you have the passion, knowledge or ideas to help us address environmental issues, feel free to put a project or course to us. Simply email any ideas through to
